Good morning ☀️🙏🏽🙌🏽 oh my goodness I can’t explain what I’m feeling but I keep crying while reading it.. thank you so much for sharing your story. I admire you very much. I hope you know that you shine a bright light on me and I’m sure on many ✨🙏🏽 of God’s children 💙
After reading your book it gave me the courage to share with my daughter about a month ago. Like most adult kids she believed I lived this charmed life! 🙄 I’m glad I did share as it helped our relationship.
The book is a deeply compassionate guide for women seeking spiritual healing after an abortion. Through a 21-day journey, the devotional offers daily reflections, prayers, and scriptural insights designed to foster emotional recovery and spiritual renewal. The author, with sensitivity and grace, addresses the wounds left by abortion, emphasizing God's love, forgiveness, and the possibility of finding peace. Each day’s devotion is crafted to gently guide readers toward self-forgiveness and restoration, making this book a valuable resource for anyone grappling with the aftermath of abortion. It's a comforting companion that offers hope and healing through faith, encouraging women to embrace grace and move forward in their spiritual journey.
...I read your book. The courage you exhibited in writing it is amazing! You have given me the courage to slowly start speaking about my story. Even 50+ years later I 'shake' when I speak of my alcoholic/abusive father who physically forced me (I was drugged and kidnapped by him at the home I was living at) to have an abortion at 16 years. It was the most traumatic, awful experience that still haunts me to this day. However, God in His goodness gave me the strength to read your book and even begin speaking about what happened to me. I'm still on the healing journey and working to still believe that God can forgive me even for something I did not want. Again, thank you, Norma, for your courage, your willingness to help other women and most of all your faithfulness to the Lord. May God bless you and Tim abundantly!
"There is no doubt that the day and age in which we live is a difficult one. However, these days are not unlike others that have preceded us. In fact, ancient history tells us that pagan deities were once worshipped out of pure convenience and self-gratification. You could choose to worship any deity of whatever pleasure you were seeking.
And so, it is today. As the great King Solomon of old once said, “There is nothing new under the sun.” Human nature goes about seeking carnal desires, so long as we believe they will fulfill us or that we can indulge in them without consequences. Thus, man makes gods in his own image and serves them with the overall purpose to provide a belief system that approves their actions, whether it hurts someone in the process or not. Most ancient gods were despicable in nature. For instance, Baal was worshipped with excessive drinking and sexual rites. Another much more atrocious god, Molech, was associated with the practice of child sacrifice. It was performed by an attending priest that would escort the worshipper as they carried their infant or young child to the place of offering. The young boy or girl was placed directly onto the searing, hot outstretched arms of Molech.
It's hard to believe that such evil actually took place, but we mustn’t kid ourselves into thinking that this kind of evil has ever stopped. If anything, evil has perfected itself in a more acceptable way. But the ugly fact is that we are just as barbaric, if not more so. Today, we pride ourselves in being so much less brutal as we commit the same worship rituals to the god of convenience and need. When a child is an inconvenience or unwanted for any reason, we take steps to assure that our pleasures are afforded. Instead of the outward display of child sacrifice burning on the arms of a false god, we have made it so much easier within the walls of sterile buildings where no one will hear or see.
One of the most hotly contested issues of our day is the murdering of preborn infants. Oh, progressives will never admit murder is actually taking place. They try to cover it up with terms such as birth control, tissue, and fetus, but all that terminology just devalues the human baby—wonderfully and miraculously—thriving in the developmental stages of pregnancy in the sanctum of a woman. Say whatever you will, or use whatever terminology you wish, the fact remains that children are a gift from God. Unfortunately, not many believe this anymore.
However, there is great news! All is not lost. No matter what you have suffered, or whatever suffering you have forced onto another, there is absolute and remarkable healing available to you. God loves you and forgives all our confessed sin and He will take away the burden that you have been carrying. In “Healing After Abortion,” Norma Murakami will walk you through a moving and gripping account of how God did a remarkable work within her own life. Norma speaks from experience and, perhaps unlike many others, she can speak to you.
All can experience the power of God and the joy of complete healing through the love of Jesus Christ. He has forgiven her, and He will forgive you too."
